The WIRELESS PLANNING & COORDINATION (WPC ) Wing of the Ministry of Communications, created in 1952, is the National Radio Regulatory Authority responsible for Frequency Spectrum Management, including licensing and caters for the needs of all wireless users (Government and Private) in the country. BIS certification is a means of guaranteeing the quality, reliability, and safety of products to the customer. Keeping in mind the consumer’s health, the Government of India has made  BIS certification  mandatory for some products. It’s imperative to establish that the products we are using in our day-to-day life hold excellent quality and are safe to use. Keeping this truth in consideration, a foreign agency in Geneva established an organization called the global organization of standardization (ISO) and ensures that product is provided to the people are of outstanding quality and cherished to use. Our country is also a member of this organization and we call it  BIS  (Bureau of Indian standard). The product devoted to the standards designated by BIS is certified and we may rely on those products.
